Ependymoma

These tumours are fairly rare in the adult population. They tend to be more common in children. In children they are usually located in the base part of the brain called the posterior fossa.

At present there are 2 grades

  • Grade II – Ependymoma
  • Grade III – anaplastic ependymoma
